Agra City Tour Guide was founded with a single, deeply personal mission: to share the extraordinary history, culture, and beauty of Agra in a way that no guidebook ever could. Our founders were born and raised in Agra — they grew up playing near the Taj Mahal, learned Mughal history from their grandparents, and fell in love with the city long before they began guiding.
What started as a passion project in 2017 grew into Agra's most trusted licensed tour guide company. Over the past decade, we have guided over 1,000 international travelers from more than 50 countries — families, solo explorers, couples on honeymoon, photographers, historians, and dignitaries — all through the same gates, but each with a uniquely personal experience.
Every guide on our team is Ministry of Tourism certified, deeply knowledgeable about Mughal history, and genuinely passionate about making every visitor's time in Agra unforgettable. This is not a job to us — it is a calling.

Founded by local Agra residents, we began guiding our first international visitors — primarily English-speaking travelers from the UK, USA and Australia — around the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Expanded our team with government-certified guides in Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Chinese — opening our services to travelers from Europe and Asia who had been underserved in Agra.

Born and raised in Agra, our lead guides have spent their entire lives immersed in the history, architecture, and culture of Mughal India. They studied at local universities specialising in history and archaeology, and completed their Ministry of Tourism certification with distinction.
